WC3L Quali: DU < Qpool

One of the four remaining WC3L Qualification tournament matches has been played today between the german based teams DU and QPool. While DU mainly has got german players except their bulgarian 2on2 team, QPool has got lots of Koreans in their roster.

Both teams came far this qualification, but one had to be kicked out today because they were in the lowerbracket. There was on the one hand the suprising DU - former GaB - who beat 3wD, lost to NiP, then beat AoD. After this, they faces TmG and lost, but because TmG was removed from the WC3L admins due to too many penalty points, DU got the win.
On the other hand there was QPool, one of the favourites for a WC3L Spot next to TmG, NiP and WE. They beat SGC, ecLs until they closely lost to the korean team of LanFan with 2-3. In the lowerbracket they faced JP and now DU.

This means that DU is out of the WC3L after doing a good job, while QPool only has to play a single match until they know about their future. Qpools final opponent is u5 who are very strong lately. This for sure will be a very exciting match with a close outcome, so QPool aswell as u5 will for sure look forward to this match, but also fear it a little.
