Forsen grabs first tournament win in HTC Invitational

After a long drought of competitive success, Sebastian Forsen” Fors claimed victory in the HTC Invitational today, winning over Drew "TidesofTime" Biessener 3-1.

Forsen has just claimed victory at the HTC Invitational, clinching his first tournament win and upsetting some major names along the way. Forsen beat Yevgeniy “Neirea” Shumilin in first round, advancing to earn a completely unexpected victory over current #1 GosuRanked player Aleksandr “Kolento” Malsh. A victory over George “Hyped” Maganzini followed in the semi-finals and so Forsen advanced advanced to the final match against Drew “TidesofTime” Biessener, who recently came back from an extended leave from the HS scene.

True to his style, Tides had brought some incredibly unique decks and ended with a strong performance, despite falling 3-1 to Forsen. It was a battle between Tides’ Murlocs, Dragon Hunter, and Dragon Control Warrior against Forsen's Mech Shaman, Mech Mage, and Zoo.

Forsen receives $2,500 for first place and his first big win at a tournament, and the admiration of the Forsenboys. Forsen's lineup was largely targeted at Druid, and despite not encountering as much druid as he would have liked, a combination of good luck and good plays allowed him to claim the title of HTC Invitational champion.
