This project was created to help the development of Peruvian players and their preparation for international tournaments.
June 18 will go down in history for the Peruvian esports scene. Yesterday, the Gaming Service, a company which in the last year organized some of the biggest tournaments in Latin America, announced an expressive project: the creation of the Elite Gaming House, the first gaming arena in Peru which will host players for LoL, Dota2, SSF, StarCraft II and CS:GO.
The EGH have the objective to form and guide the Peruvian players to reach the highest level of professional competence in eSports. According to Favio Cossio, the commercial manager, with this arena the Peruvian players can prepare for international tournaments in the same way that most top tier teams in e-sports already do.
Elite Gaming House isn't the first project made with this objective in South America. Since 2012 Brazil have had the Arena X5 SBG, an arena that held the main events in the Brazilian scene such as World Cyber Games Brazil 2013.
