Veteran poker pro Victor Ramdin defeated World Series of Poker 2005 champion Joe Hachem heads up to win the $5,000 buy-in Big Event main event at the Bicycle casino in Los Angeles, California. Ramdin wins $385,000 for the win.
When they were three handed and pretty even in chips, a chop was negotiated with Hachem getting $290k, Ramdin $285k, and Ausmus $265k leaving $100k for first and $50k extra for second.

The final table took 10 and a half hours to play out.
The final hand saw all the money go in pre-flop with Hachem holding suited A,K and Ramdin holding A,J, but the flop was kind to Ramdin giving him top two pair which held for the win.
The 417 entrants created a $1,921,327 prize pool for The Big Event. Many of these players will head up to Bay 101 for next week's tournament.
