Ramzi Jelassi finished in third position contingent on his elimination of Team PokerStars Pro Viktor "Isildur1" Blom when his aces survived against Blom's flush draw.
Notables that fared well on Day 1B include Sven Vestø (127,500), Pernille Ravn (106,500), Jonathan Weekes (104,500), Josh Prager (80,200), JP Kelly (73,600), Jake Cody (67,600) and Xuan Lui (48,700).

A total of 449 players paid the DKK 37,250 to buy into EPT Copenhagen, creating a prize pool of DKK 15,086,400 (€2,023,496). Of that field, 64 players will finish in the money, with a mi-cash paying DKK 55,000 (€7,377).
The winner will take away a first prize of DKK 3,700,000 (€496,271) on Saturday, with the runner-up spot paying DKK 2,450,000 (€328,612).
