Viktor "Isildur1" Blom defeated Eugene "My RabbiFoo" Katchalov in the fourth Pokerstars Superstar Showdown on Sunday. The 29 year-old Katchalov took the most lopsided loss yet, losing $111,750 to Blom in the 2,500 hand four tables of $50-$100 challenge.
Not surprisingly with those results, the two biggest hands of the match went to Isildur1. One hand featured a $62,500 pot of set over set, while the other was a $35,500 pot where Katchalov bluffed on the river and Isildur1 called down with two pair. The match missed much of the massive aggression and massive swings and pots featured in the last challenge with Dan Cates.
Isildur1 moves to 3-1 so far in these challenges, having lost $41,700 in the first showdown to Isaac "philivey2694" Haxton, and having beaten Tony. G for around $44,000, and having beaten Dan “w00ki3z” Cates for nearly $52k.
The fifth SuperStar Showdown is scheduled for February 27th, and will pit Blom against an online qualifier.
