We have GSL Season 2 winner NesTea clashing with Polt to kick-start the season in the S-class round of 32, followed by Maka and TheBest in a Terran vs Terran. The winner of the first match will then face the loser of the second, and the loser of the first match will take on the winner of the second match.
NesTea is of course one of the first day's favorites, being the champion of season 2. In season 3, NesTea managed to get to the quarter finals after defeating Maka in the round of 16. He did however lose to the underdog of the season, Rain, who made it all the way to the grand final. Polt fell short in the round of 16 in the third season, losing to Jinro 2-0, but he did manage to knock out SlayerS_BoxeR, the Emperor, in the round of 32. TheBest did also exit GSL Season 3 in the round of 16 after losing to HongUn 2-1.
