The biggest trailers and announcements from Xbox Games Showcase June 2025

We finally got the reveal of Persona 4 Revival and more in this week’s Xbox Games Showcase!

Microsoft’s annual Xbox Games Showcase presentation officially went live earlier today, hosting a packed two hours of game announcements, trailers, and updates. Much like last year’s showcase, this presentation was a whopper. We got reveals for games like Persona 4 Revival and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as well as updates on games like The Outer Worlds 2. 

Here are all the biggest trailers and announcements you might have missed from Xbox Games Showcase 2025:

The Outer Worlds 2 (29 October, 2025)

We got an extended look at gameplay for The Outer Worlds 2, which takes players to an invasion of the Arcadia star system. Expect more comical satire and science weapons when the game launches later this year. 

High on Life 2 (Winter 2025)

Remember that sci-fi first-person shooter that turned heads because of its weird talking weapons in 2022? Well, it’s getting a sequel!

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (2026)

The A Plague Tale franchise is moving on from Amicia and Hugo with this new spin-off, set in the distant past. 

ROG Xbox Ally X ( Holiday 2025)

Xbox has finally unveiled its gaming handheld, which spins out of 2024’s ROG Ally X. There’s lots of Hollow Knight Silksong gameplay in this reveal as well! Read more on this reveal here.

The Blood of Dawnwalker (2026)

The ex-Witcher developers at Rebel Wolves have shown off gameplay for their upcoming vampire action-RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker. 

Super Meat Boy 3D (Early 2026)

The Super Meat Boy game franchise is going 3D in this action-platformer!

Ninja Gaiden 4 (21 October, 2025)

Koei Tecmo and Platinum Games are teaming up for Ninja Gaiden 4, a new installment in the beloved action game series. 

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants story expansion (4 September, 2025)

Indiana Jones sets out to solve another ancient mystery in this expansion for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. 

Beast of Reincarnation (2026)

Pokemon game franchise developer Game Freak has announced a startlingly different new IP. This action-adventure game is set in a mystical world, following a young woman who needs to stop a being known as the Beast of Reincarnation. 

Clockwork Revolution (“in due time,” quoting the trailer)

Inxile Entertainment’s new sci-fi steampunk game has unveiled a new trailer, featuring a Pissed-Off Doll, the Knob, and more colourful characters.

Grounded 2 (29 July, 2025)

The multiplayer Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!-inspired video game Grounded is getting a sequel in early access next month!

Chronos: The New Dawn (Fall 2025)

Bloober Team (Silent Hill 2 remake)’s new sci-fi third-person horror game has unveiled a new trailer.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult (18 June, 2025)

The Elder Scrolls Online MMO is getting new content this month. 

Aphelion (TBA)

Don’t Nod Entertainment is following up on Lost Records: Bloom & Rage with this third-person adventure game, which sees an astronaut fight to survive while stranded on an icy planet. 

No Ghosts at the Grand (2026)

Imagine Power Wash Simulator, but a lot weirder, with puzzles, monsters, and talking cats–and you get this game. Also, singing! Don’t forget the singing. 

Age of Mythology Retold: Heavenly Spear (Fall 2025)

The Japanese pantheon joins Age of Mythology Retold: Heavenly Spear. 

Mudang Two Hearts (2026)

This stealth-action third-person game has players fight zombified humans as a skilled soldier and schoolgirl, both in tandem. 

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf (2026).

The gorgeous indie platformer game Planet of Lana is getting a sequel. 

Fallout 76: Gone Fission (out now)

You can now fish in this once-infamous Fallout multiplayer video game. 

Solo Leveling Arise: Overdrive (Fall 2025)

In a full-circle moment, Solo Leveling is getting a four-player co-op multiplayer video game adaptation. Players will, ironically, not be solo levelling in this game. 

Animo (2026)

Cute furry pals, skateboards, open-world environments, and more–this game has it all. 

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 (11 July, 2025)

The remakes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 are dropping as a bundle next month, but here’s the big reveal: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are joining the fray! Of all the crossovers we’ve seen this week, this one might just make the most sense. The Doomguy is also included in this game’s Deluxe Edition, which admittedly makes a little less sense. Still cool, though!

At Fate’s End (2026)

Family drama and action-platforming are included in this 2D game with gorgeous art. 

Gears of War: Reloaded (26 August, 2025)

This remaster of the original Gears of War game takes players back to the very first outing of one of Xbox’s most iconic shooters–and we’re counting Halo. 

Persona 4 Revival (TBA)

Persona 4 is getting a remake! The highly-beloved RPG will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on release day. Read more on this reveal here.

Invincible VS (2026)

We’re getting a new Invincible 3v3 tag fighting game, but it sports some interesting changes from the source material. We see a game-original scene of Invincible and friends fighting off Viltrumites, including Omni-Man. Whether the game includes a story campaign remains to be seen.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 16 arrive on Xbox (Winter 2025/out now)

Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, including Intergrade DLC, are coming to Xbox devices this year.

Keeper (17 October, 2025)

Double Fine has finally revealed a new game, following up on Psychonauts 2. In this game, we’ll play as a walking lighthouse. 

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (TBA)
