The biggest trailers and announcements from Summer Game Fest 2025

From Resident Evil Requiem to a Hatsune Miku x Sonic the Hedgehog crossover, this week’s Summer Game Fest 2025 livestream was packed with big reveals. 

The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley’s annual Summer Game Fest livestream has returned for another go this year, delivering a two-hour show packed with trailers and announcements for upcoming video games. This year, we got reveals for Deadpool VR and Resident Evil Requiem, and updates on highly-anticipated games like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Dune Awakening. 

Here are all the biggest trailers and announcements you might have missed from Summer Game Fest 2025.

Mortal Shell II (2026)

A sequel to Mortal Shell has officially been announced, with dark and grisly Bloodborne-like Gothic visuals. 

Fortnite

Fortnite’s current season is in the midst of a Star Wars crossover. 

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (26 June, 2025)

Hideo Kojima showed up a little earlier than expected for this show, delivering another–somewhat vague–sneak preview for this Death Stranding sequel. 

Chronicles: Medieval (TBA)

This sandbox game was revealed during Summer Game Fest.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (25 September, 2025)

The upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog-themed racing game features a wide variety of unexpected crossovers, including Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Steve from Minecraft! Read more about it here.

Code Vein II (2026)

They’re making a new Code Vein! This anime vampire Souls-like video game launches sometime in 2026. 

End of Abyss (TBA)

This top-down horror game has players confront horrors beyond their comprehension, which multiply when shot and generally make life worse.

Mouse P.I. For Hire (2025)

This shooter employs Cuphead-like classic animation visuals, and stars Troy Baker.

Game of Thrones: War for Westeros (2026)

A Game of Thrones real-time strategy game has been announced, giving players a new ending to the story–but perhaps not a good one for Jon Snow. Read more about it here.

Atomic Heart II (TBA)

Atomic Heart developer Mundfish has announced a sequel, bringing players back to the game’s distinct sci-fi world. Read more about it here.

The Cube: Atomic Universe

The Cube is an MMO action-RPG set in the universe of Atomic Heart. Read more about it here.

Marvel: Cosmic Invasion (2025)

She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon have been announced as playable characters in Marvel: Cosmic Invasion, a retro-style beat-em-up. 

Onimusha: Way of the Sword (2026)

Capcom has dropped a new trailer for Onimusha, slowing off its slick gameplay, dark and twisted world, and frantic combat. 

Felt That: Boxing (TBA)

This wild-looking game combines real Muppet-style puppets with real-time action gameplay, as an “unadoptable” puppet works his way up to becoming a big-time boxer. 

Killer Inn (TBA)

This murder-mystery game has players work out who’s the murderer on the grounds of a mysterious castle, looting and murdering their way to victory. 

Arc Raiders (30 October, 2025)

This trailer finally gave us a release date for Arc Raiders, and a sneak peek of what players can expect in its sci-fi extraction shooter gameplay loop. 

Dune: Awakening (10 June, 2025)

We got another look at the upcoming Dune: Awakening multiplayer survival game, which is now available in early access ahead of its 10 June launch. 

Chrono Odyssey (TBA)

This dark supernatural game has dropped a new trailer. 

Wuthering Waves Version 2.4 (12 June, 2025)

The gacha game Wuthering Waves unveiled a new trailer, showing off its playable characters and world. 

Out of Words (TBA)

This co-op multiplayer game features handcrafted models and environments, delivering a gorgeous stop-motion feel in gameplay.

Mafia: The Old Country

The newest Mafia game has unveiled a trailer showing off its main cast and period setting, which takes players back to 1900s Sicily. 

LEGO Voyagers (TBA)

This gorgeous new multiplayer LEGO game has players play as LEGO studs, as they traverse a brick-built world.

Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny (TBA)

This Nickelodeon crossover game is an action-RPG featuring classic cartoon characters. 

Lies of P: Overture (available now)

The Lies of P DLC Overture is officially out now on all platforms, in Summer Game Fest’s first surprise game drop. 

Fractured Blooms (TBA)

This horror anime game has players explore a farm and try to survive a nightmarish event. 

Crystal of Atlan x One Punch Man (26 June to 26 July, 2025)

The MMO action-RPG Crystal of Atlan is collaborating with One Punch Man. 

The Seven Deadly Sins Origins (2025)

This game adaptation of The Seven Deadly Sins takes players into the world of the anime/manga series. 

Jurassic World Evolution 3 (21 October, 2025)

The sandbox dinosaur game franchise Jurassic World Evolution is getting a new sequel. 

Mina the Hollower (31 October, 2025)

Yacht Club Games, the creator of the Shovel Knight series, is finally showing off more of its next game IP: Mina the Hollower. This throwback adventure game is filled with gorgeous sprites, action-packed gameplay, and pixel art. 

Marvel’s Deadpool VR (Late 2025)

Neil Patrick Harris stars as Deadpool in this VR game. Read more about it here.

Dying Light: The Beast (22 August, 2025)

Kyle Crane, the protagonist of the first Dying Light game, returns from captivity and goes on a revenge mission in this sequel. 

Mixtape (2025)

This narrative adventure game pays homage to classic coming-of-age stories, as a group of friends spend one last night together before school is over for good. 

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree (19 September, 2025)

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s new roguelite game Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree shows off its gorgeous art style. 

Acts of Blood (TBA)

This action game comes from an Indonesian game developer, starring actor Luqman Ski. Read more about it here.

Scott Pilgrim EX (2026)

The classic Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World video game is getting a beat-em-up follow-up at long last, continuing the story of the original game at long last. Series creator Bryan Lee O'Malley is also writing the new game’s story, while Amanaguchi is back on board for music. Read more about it here.

The First Descendant: Breakthrough (7 August, 2025)

The First Descendant: Breakthrough dropped a new trailer during Summer Game Fest to announce its release date.

Mindseye

The IO Interactive-published sci-fi game Mindseye has unveiled a new trailer, along with a Hitman crossover.

Hitman: World of Assassination x James Bond crossover (now available)

A new DLC for Hitman: World of Assassination allows players to assassinate LeChiffre from Casino Royale. Read more about it here.

LEGO Party (2025)!

Think Super Mario Party but made with LEGO bricks, and you’ve got this new party game. 

Wildgate

This sci-fi multiplayer game has dropped an all-new trailer. 

Blighted (TBA)

The creator of Guacamelee! and Nobody Saves the World has unveiled a new 3D game called Blighted. 

ILL (TBA)

This new first-person horror game has players battle horrific humanoid monsters. 

Mecha Break (1 July, 2025)

This mecha action game launches next month. 

Infinitesimals (2026)

This game was built by an eight-person game studio. This small-scale action game has players fight robotic threats in their own backyard–literally. 

Street Fighter 6 Year 3 DLC

Street Fighter 6 has unveiled its Year 3 DLC characters: Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. Read more about it here.

Last Flag (TBA)

This multiplayer game almost looks like Fortnite, pitting players against each other in shooter gameplay.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (24 July, 2025)

This Souls-like action-RPG launches next month.

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver

The classic Cuphead-style animation returns in a 3D format with this supernatural action-adventure game.
