Here’s how you can try Overwatch 2’s newest hero before she’s officially released.

Overwatch 2 unveils next playable hero Juno, limited-time trial starts soon
Overwatch 2’s next playable hero is a Support character named Juno, and she’s going to be a lot of fun for players who enjoy flying heroes like Pharah and Echo. Her character kit largely revolves around healing her teammates and buffing their speed, making her something of a flying Lucio - just without the Boop.
Juno’s ability kit is headlined by her primary and secondary fire modes: a Mediblaster and Pulsar Torpedoes, respectively. The Mediblaster is a burst-fire submachine gun that heals teammates while damaging enemies, while the Pulsar Torpedoes lock onto targets to heal or damage them.
She also has a Glide Boost ability, which gives her a speed buff while letting her glide around in the air temporarily. Her second ability is a Hyper Ring, which lets her deploy a portal that boosts ally movement speed. Her Ultimate ability is the Orbital Ray, which allows her to call down a moving beam that hits allies to buff their damage while healing them. She also has a passive ability called Martian Overboots, which allows her to hold the jump button to hover when airborne, or press it twice to double-jump.
Here’s the kicker: you’ll be able to try Juno out before she fully launches in Overwatch 2: Season 12 on August 20, 2024. From July 19 to July 21 this weekend, Overwatch 2 is hosting a limited-time trial of the hero, making her playable in all modes except Competitive Play.
