Quite a few celebrities stream on Twitch regularly, whether they're playing games or just chatting with viewers. Here's a list!
Over the course of the pandemic, we all had to get a little more comfortable being at home. Quite a few celebrities took the chance to finally explore Twitch and streaming as a way to connect with fans, though a few were already quite familiar with the platform. You’d be surprised how many celebrities still stream on Twitch regularly, whether it’s to broadcast full game playthroughs, stream some Valorant or simply have a chat with viewers.
Here are just a few Twitch-streaming celebrities:
T-Pain
You might remember T-Pain as the rapper who popularised the use of auto-tuning in hip hop music way back when, but he’s also an incredibly fun streamer to watch on Twitch these days. When T-Pain isn’t streaming games like Call of Duty: Warzone, Forza Horizon 5, Risk of Rain 2 and Fortnite, he’s reviewing music created by fans or making music himself. He also sometimes goes viral for accidentally ignoring celebrity DMs for years.

Felicia Day
Felicia Day is an actress probably best known for starring in and creating the web series The Guild, as well as her roles in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Supernatural and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. On Twitch, she runs a pretty comfy stream, interacting with viewers as she plays games like Stardew Valley and Core Keeper. Currently, she’s doing a full playthrough of God of War.

Sam Witwer
Gamers will recognise Sam Witwer as the star of Days Gone, the PlayStation 4 open-world survival game following a biker named Deacon, played by Witwer. Witwer’s voice will also be familiar to Star Wars fans, as he voiced Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. He also played Starkiller in Star Wars: the Force Unleashed! Witwer’s Days Gone stream was a fun one to watch, with the actor sharing trivia on the game's development while playing through it. He also likes streaming Star Wars Battlefront 2 every so often.

Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg’s streams are so chill that the rapper often forgets he’s even streaming. The legendary hip-hop artist recently joined FaZe Clan, so expect his streams to keep going for the near future. He usually streams Madden games. Sometimes he’ll talk to viewers. Sometimes you’ll only see his forehead on camera. Sometimes he’ll stream for an hour. Other times he’ll stream for 11 minutes. You never know what you’re going to get with a Snoop Dogg stream.

Post Malone
You probably know Post Malone is an incredibly popular rapper-singer-songwriter, but did you also know that he’s a huge fan of Apex Legends? The music artist has praised the battle royale game for bringing back his love for videogames, and has gone on to stream himself playing it with friends many times over the last year.

Mike Shinoda
Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda discovered a new creative outlet in Twitch streaming when everyone was stuck at home in 2020. The music artist has since formed a wholesome online community around his streams, using it to draw, chat, make music on the fly and play the occasional game of Valorant. He’s even asked Twitch to ‘white label’ his solo music so all Twitch streamers can use them freely. His streams are just a good time.

Deadmau5
Joel Thomas Zimmerman AKA Deadmau5 is pretty popular for his work on electronic music, but he’s no stranger to gamers either. The musician popped up in Fortnite in 2020, and has had his music featured in games like Dota 2 and FUSER. On Twitch, he streams his own music or plays Terraria… for 16 whole hours. That’s commitment, but to be fair, who hasn’t played Terraria for 16 hours?

Nicole Tompkins
In the words of Jill Valentine, “You want S.T.A.R.S? I'll give you S.T.A.R.S!" Resident Evil fans know Nicole Tompkins best from her portrayal of Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 3 (2020) and Daniela Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village. She’s also appeared in a few other games recently, such as Horizon Forbidden West and Guilty Gear: Strive. On Twitch, she streams survival horror games like The Last of Us when she’s not doing signing sessions with other co-stars from Resident Evil games.

Chrissy Costanza
Chrissy Costanza is the lead vocalist of the band Against the Current, which has collaborated quite a few times with Riot Games for League of Legends tie-in music. They first recorded Legends Never Die for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, after which Costanza and the band have continued to make music to tie in with the World Championship. Fun fact: she’s also performed ‘Each Goal’ and ‘Hero too’ as Kyoka Jiro in My Hero Academia!
Costanza streams regularly on Twitch, usually playing either Valorant or Elden Ring.

AOC
Okay, we're cheating with this one - but politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (better known as AOC)'s Twitch streams back in 2020 were a fun watch, and for good reason too. She streamed Among Us multiple times right when the game peaked in popularity, making her debut stream one of Twitch's biggest ever with 435,000 viewers. She even teamed up with (and subsequently digitally-murdered) popular streamers like Pokimane for a few Among Us matches. Maybe she'll get back to streaming again sometime, who knows?
