DreamLeague Season 24 qualifiers have concluded, adding ten teams to the lineup for the end of October.
DreamLeague Season 24 is only weeks away. It will be the second big event in the post-TI space. The qualifiers were also the second to take place since the roster shuffles, and a chance for fans to catch the new lineups and teams to test the waters.
Only six teams are being invited and those teams have not been revealed yet – although it is expected that Team Falcons, the DreamLeague Season 23 championship team will be on hand to defend their title. Of course, most expect to see The International 2024 champions Team Liquid and runner-up team Gaimin Gladiators among the participants.
That means the qualifiers were stacked. Among its most notable losses were that of Natus Vincere featuring Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov in Eastern Europe, Alliance who had picked up Dandelions and OG's new lineup in Western Europe, Aurora's new roster in SEA, and Shopify Rebellion's new group in NA.
For a pleasant surprise, Nigma Galaxy sans Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi will kick off the new season by competing in one of the year's bigger events – we will withhold commentary about his absence and their new success, as well as the fact that Zone Academy arrived to face them in the grand finals there WITHOUT WINNING a single game.
DreamLeague Season 24 will begin on October 27th and conclude on November 10th. As usual, the teams will gather in boot camps in Europe to compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 14,075 EPT points.

- Group Stage 1 - October 27 - October 30, 2024
- Two single round-robin groups of eight teams each
- All series consist of two games
- Top four teams from each group advance to group stage 2
- Remaining teams are eliminated
- Group Stage 2 - November 1 - November 7, 2024
- One single round-robin group of eight teams
- All matches are Bo3
- Top two teams advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 3rd and 4th place teams advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
- Playoffs - November 9 - November 10, 2024
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches except Grand Final are Bo3
- Grand Final is Bo5
DreamLeague Season 24 Prize Pool
The prize pool for DreamLeague Season 24 is $1,000,000 – the same amount as previous iterations. And honestly, not that much less than The International, which clocked in at $2,602,164 by the end.
