Riyadh Masters, the Dota 2 competition at the inaugural edition of Esports World Cup will feature a total of 5 million dollars.
Esports World Cup 2024 will feature 19 different competitions, most of them with a million dollars on the line. Dota 2 has the largest prize pool to offer, 5 million dollars, followed by PUBG Mobile with 3.8 million and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with 3.5 million.
Although this is the largest prize pool of all 19 tournaments at Esports World Cup, the $5,000,000 is just a quarter of last year’s Riyadh Masters edition, which had $15,000,000 to offer.
Twenty teams will enter the battle for the Esport World Cup trophy. Eight teams will receive a direct invite based on the ESL Pro Tour ranking. They will be joined by 12 more coming from regional qualifiers. It is worth mentioning that the regional qualifiers will also boast a generous prize pool, but EWC is yet to make an official announcement regarding the sum and the distribution.
