What should you be watching in the Dota 2 scene this week? The BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 closed qualifiers will occur throughout the week for five regions.
Now that all of the holiday festivities have come to an end, the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 closed qualifiers are in full swing with teams locked into battle across five regions.
Five regions?
Yep. BetBoom decided to keep the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and then merge North and South American regions as well as merge Southeast Asia and China regions into one bracket.
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 is the first tournament of the new year to boast a $1,000,000 prize. It will feature 12 teams —seven invited and five from qualifiers. The event will take place in Dubai from February 4 through February 16.
What is most exciting about these qualifier games are:
- There has been a second wave of roster shuffles taking place after the conclusion of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. So there are plenty of new lineups to check out.
- The regions have been merged in interesting ways to see teams pitted against some unexpected opponents
- Only one team per the five regions will advance to the main event
