A lot happens during a week in Dota 2, and not everything makes headlines. Here's what you might have missed as Division I of the DPC 2023 Tour 3 wrapped up.
Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the Dota 2 scene. Amidst the DPC league play, tournaments, Majors, patches, and roster swaps, more happens that don't always make the headlines.
This is a bit of what happened in the last week that might have gotten missed, primarily in Division I of the DPC 2023 Tour 3 —who is going to Bali and who is headed (back) to Division II to start off the next DPC season.
- All of the teams that will be heading to the third and final Major of the DPC 2022-23 season have been determined. Bali Major is set to be the last pit stop before The International 2023. The Major will welcome 18 qualified teams. It has a $500,000 total prize pool to offer and 3,500 DPC points which will be split between the top 8 placed teams. The event will run from June 29 to July 9, but only the final three days in the playoffs, July 7-9 are open for live audiences.

The Bali Major is the last chance for teams to snatch up the highly coveted DPC points and earn a direct invite to The International. The International returns to the US after four editions held around the world. TI7 was the last edition hosted by the Key Arena in Seattle, where Team Liquid lifted the Aegis of Champions. From there on, each year TI went to different parts of the globe. Key Arena, which now is Climate Pledge arena from Seattle will be the home for The International 2023. The event will run October 14 - 29 with the best 18 teams fighting for the trophy.

For these teams to punch a ticket to The International 2023, they will need to fight for the spot via qualifiers. Only six teams will qualify through the Regional Qualifiers; one team each from North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, China, and Southeast Asia.
This week Division II matches are on the menu. DreamLeague Season 20 will take place between June 11-25th, followed by Bali Major June 29th-July 9th.
