Nigma.Galaxy has parted ways with their SEA roster before the Post-TI shuffle.
The latest team not heading to TI to release their roster is Nigma.Galaxy. For now, however, the announcement only talks about their SEA team.
All players —Anurat "Boombui" Praianun, Vincent "AlaCrity" Hiew Teck Yoong, Hiew Teck Yoong, Galvin "mizu" Kang, and Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro — will become free agents and no doubt looking for teams before the start of the 2022-23 DPC season which kicks off in December with qualifiers.
Although the start of the year seemed promising, they quickly headed downhill after and suffered lackluster performances in the last tour of the season.
But the nail in the coffin for them was then they didn't update their official roster after parting ways with Muhammad "inYourdreaM" Rizky in July. This resulted in them having to either choose to play the qualifiers with him (even though he was already registered to another team that also failed to update their roster in time) or forgo the qualifiers.
Their choice to compete didn't end well for them. They took a disappointing, but not surprising, 9-12th place finish.
The Post TI shuffle is just starting and many rosters will change, and players will retire. There is much speculation as to the status of the main Nigma roster but no information has been forthcoming as of yet.
