The International Short Film Contest is back with a whopping $40,000 prize pool.
Introduced for the first time at The International 2015, the Short Film Contest returns for the seventh time in a row giving a chance to aspiring film-makers to showcase their talent.
Submissions for the 2022 Short Film Contest are now open via the Steam Workshop and will remain open until 3:00pm PDT on September 4, 2022. All creations must be no longer than 90 seconds, free of advertisements and need to be at least 1080p video quality.
Dota 2 fans and the Steam community will be able to review all the submissions and vote for their favourites. Based on the community votes, Valve will select the top 10 entries that will be showcased on The International 2022 stage.
