Quincy Crew will be without their four position support player, Arif "MSS" Anwar after a COVID-19 test came back positive. This comes after QC secures their spot for the Singapore Major in the NA upper-division for the DPC. As quoted by their manager, Jacky "KBBQ" Chen via Twitter:
MSS will be replaced with Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara, a player who has long been a part of the Dota 2 community since its early days. What's great is that MiLAN is also a position four support player, who last played for mudgolems back in 2020.
While it will be a loss for QC without MSS, MiLAN brings plenty of tournament experience with him having played in various tournaments over the years. He also participated in two TIs but unfortunately never made it past the group stages back in 2017 and 2019.
This news comes just a handful of hours after one of the casters for the Singapore Major, Ioannis "Fogged" Loucas also revealed that he won't be travelling for the tournament due to COVID-19 suspicions.
This is how QC should be lining up for the upcoming major:
Yawar “YawaR” Hassan
Quinn “Quinn” Callahan
Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos
Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara
Avery “LoA” Silverman
The Singapore Major is slated to begin on 27th March until the final day on 4th April. Be sure to tune in to catch all the action come Saturday!
