The International 7 Battle Pass has arrived

The International 7 is three months away, but the new Battle Pass will surely keep you busy through the long wait for the biggest event of the year.

The new Battle Pass has a lot of new features, including a party campaign in three acts, team quests, a Tidehunter and Kunkka announcer pack, prestige towers skins, a new seasonal map along with an aquatic themed permanent one, and for those feeling strong enough, a MMR gambling option. Introduced for the first time with the last year’s TI Compendium, the seasonal matchmaking option is an opportunity for everyone to recalibrate their MMR and it is made available again, but only for The International 7 Compendium owners.

The International 7 Battle Pass is brimming with content and offers a lot of challenges to the players, but apart from the ones we are already used to from previous TI or Majors, the two most important new features are the Rank Double down and the multiplayer campaign.

Rank double down:

The Rank Double Down feature allows players to gamble with their MMR once per week. At higher Battle Pass levels (255 and 395 respectively) the option will be available up to three times per week. Using the Double Down you will basically have the opportunity to double your MMR gained in case of a won match or lose double the MMR value if you lose the game.

Two acts multiplayer campaign:

The Siltbreakwer campaign requires a party of at least four people, you and three more friends. Together you will adventure into a Dark Reef custom map to fight various mobs and take on different challenges. Campaign XP points are rewarded every time you adventure into the Dark Reef, points that can be used to spin a wheel for certain rewards. The biggest reward of the Campaign is a Desert Sand Baby Roshan courier.  The first act of the Siltbreakwer campaign will be available later this month with the second act coming up in July. The release date for the third and last act of the campaign hasn’t been announced yet.

Starting today and until after The International 7 there is plenty of time to level up you Battle Pass. And there are a lot of options to do so, more than any other compendium had before and if you don’t have time to do the quests and challenges that reward Battle Pass level points you can invest money in the level boosters. The International 7 Battle Pass can be purchased for USD 9.99 for starting at level one or for $36.99, for a level 75 mega bundle. Battle Pass level points can also be purchased to boost your levels with prices ranging from $2.49 for 5 levels to $9.99 for 24 levels.

Remember, 25% from each Battle Pass sales, including treasure chests and battle points sales are going into The International 7 prize pool. Same with every year, the TI starting prize pool is 1.6M Dollars and this year, a few hours after the Battle Pass release the prize pool is already over 3M. It remains to be seen if the community will help Valve surpass the TI6 prize pool, which was a bit over 20M Dollars.
