With the conclusion of The International 6's group stage last night, the Main Event bracket is now settled. Eight teams made it into the upper bracket, and the other eight will have to fight for their life in the merciless best-of-one first round of the lower bracket.
OG and EHOME are the winners of their groups, granting them the privilege to choose their first opponent from the 3rd-4th seed of the opposite group. OG picked MVP Phoenix for their opening series in Key Arena while EHOME chose Alliance.
For the bottom four teams in each group, the ones that finished on the 5th position got to pick their adversaries for the bo1 first match. In group A 5th placer, TnC, chose Vici Gaming Reborn while Fnatic, the 5th place finishers of Group B went with Escape Gaming.
The International 6 Main Event will start on 8th of August at 10:00 PDT/ 19:00 CEST with the upper bracket quarter finals. The results of the second part of day one in the main event will decide the first four eliminated teams as the lower bracket games are scheduled for then.
