The end of the current week comes with a chance for all the teams that want to test their strength for a spot at the largest Dota 2 LAN event of this spring for the Philippines.
ESL One decided to move their first event of the year to the city of the third Dota 2 Major, Manila. The world’s best teams will meet at the Mall of Asia Arena from April 23rd to 24th to compete for the largest prize pool tournament held in SEA so far, $250,000.
Top four finishers from the European open qualifiers will advance into the closed qualifiers for a chance to attend the LAN main event in Manila.
The qualifiers will be split into two days: Saturday, January 23rd and January 30th. Day one starts at 11:00 CET with single elimination, best-of-one games until round 16 while the second day will resume at 15:00 CET in the same format until the finals which are best-of-three.
Keep in mind that only European, CIS and African teams are allowed to participate at this open qualifier round.
