At The InternationaI 5 CDEC Gaming has proven that new talents can successsfully compete against top teams therefore, VPGAM is set to re-activate CDEC League once again in search of fresh talented players
CDEC a.k.a China Dota Elite Community evolved from IHPA (In-House Pro Alliance) managed by Ex-admin of IHPA s0rr0w and Ex-manager of 7L RuruTia was officially launched in 22 of June 2009. VPGAME maintained and managed it in order to ensure that the Chinese Dota is developing in a stable and good environment for players and to increase the competitive standard of the Chinese Dota.
CDEC League successfully gathered most of the professional players, semi pro players, skillful pub-stars and some great players from overseas. This move has effectively provided the right environment for training and discovered new talents. Most of the experienced professional players have somehow participated in the CDEC League in their early professional career.
Currently the reinvented league platform and its inner workings are undergoing the final phase of testing. While waiting for its deployment, here are some of the special features for the renewed CDEC League.
The Original League Rating System Remains
The new CDEC League will keep its original league rating system, from the lower rating to the higher rating leagues based on the sequence of: Preliminary League, Elite League and the Master League. All players are required to begin from the Preliminary League, ranking will be based on the accumulated points and at the end of each league the players that have higher ranking will advance further while the lowest ranks will get eliminated. This league rating system is aimed at promoting a long term involvement and participation and to ensure the genuine quality of each and every player, and not to reward short term performance spikes or random luck that can occur during a match.
The league's plan is to be accessible to all players, regardless of experience, giving everyone a chance to fulfill their professional gaming aspirations. Professional Match Platform Support

This time around VPGAME will be deploying a top notch e-gaming technology to support the league’s platform. The league matchmaking will be based on each player’s points and it will only match players that are within the same point range. Some of the league matches will have party members limitation, to avoid constant groupings that would cause inaccurate individual points performance
Every Role Is Taken Into Consideration
All league matches will be played in Captain's Mode where each team will evaluate their captain from the starting Ban/Pick phase to the situational strategizing. Each player has his own preferred role, such as Carry, Tank, Support and so on. The system will be able to rate the player based on its role, with different set of calculation for each role. For example, a support player will not be penalized because of its KDA final score.
Attractive Prize Pool For Each Season
Regardless of their ranks, top players of each league season will be awarded with attractive cash prize. Besides that, there are also plans for other awards, such as the most diligent player award etc. So as long as you strive for the best, you will still get recognition even though you are not on the professional player competition.
Participation Of Star Players
To fulfill the slots for the initial Elite League, VPGame will invite a handful of skilled star players to participate, such as pub-star players, potential new star players, semi-pro players, as well as the tier 1 & 2 players from LGD and CDEC. All selected players will be competing with the stars to challenge their skills in Captain's Mode.
From Master League to Youth Team
During the Master League commencement, outstanding players will have a chance to get drafted into the Youth Team. A mystery tier-1 pro-player will be their coach and will conduct a series of intense training sessions with the goal of producing yet another powerful Chinese rookie based team similar to the current CDEC.
