Russian based company Synergy has announced the creation of their new international tournament, SynergyLeague, with a starting prize pool of $50,000.
The tournament will have two parts, an online qualifier that begins on Sept. 27th, and the LAN Finals will take place during the last week of November in Barnaul, Russia. The online qualifier will have three divisions, Europe, SEA, and China, format may vary between the regions. Each division will feature a pool of invited teams and the European division will have an open qualifier component, the details of which have yet to be released. The finals will feature four teams from Europe, two from SEA and two from China.
The event will be broadcast in English (joinDOTA), Russian (SynergyStudio), and Chinese (LGD.tv). The league also has its own DotaTV ticket which is bundled with a unique item set for Storm Spirit.
