The ESPL season one finale has come to a conclusion as Power Rangers managed to grab a swift victory against the Romanian squad, TCN (Cede Nullis).
After eight weeks of qualfiers gruesome qualifiers, six teams proceeded into the ESPL play-offs to be joined by Power Rangers and Sneaky Nyx Assassins (SNA), two of the directly invited teams. As expected, PR and SNA did perform admirably and outclassed their respective opponents, only to face each other in the semi-finals.
On the other end of the bracket, Team Dog started out by winning against Divizion but fell down at the hands of TCN, who earlier had defeated Mongolz. The Romanian squad handed a surprise defeat to Team Dog to set up a grand final clash against PR, who secured a convincing victory against Fluffnstuff's SNA.
However, the finals was a one sided affair as Power Rangers completely dismantled TCN and their gameplan, leaving no stone unturned to ensure the sweet smell of success. The Belarusians won in two straight games to grab a victory as well as the championship.
Power Rangers walk away with the major chunk of prizepool whilst TCN goes home with nearly half the prizemoney of PR. Scandal has added his first crown with PR ever since joining them, and PR have added another crown to their list of achievements as they win their fourth title in 2014.
Standings:
1st: Power Rangers ($4,200 + 60% allocated ticket revenue)
2nd: TCN ($2,100 + 30% allocated ticket revenue)
3rd: Team Dog ($700 + allocated 10% ticket revenue)
