Copenhagen Wolves roster member, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, is to undergo surgery following a collapsed lung at the Assembly Winter 2016 event.
Yesterday, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, a 20 year-old professional CS:GO player that is currently representing the Copenhagen Wolves roster, reported on Facebook that he had experienced a collapsed lung during the Assembly Winter 2016 tournament. This is not the first time Rossander has had this issue, as he explains it has happened twice prior to the recent occurence. The surgery is scheduled for the 25th of February in Denmark.
Despite the excruciating pain, Lukas made the decision to stick it through the match against Finnish ENCE. The team was not able to succeed during the match, however the aforementioned demonstrated just how dedicated and caring Rossander is of his team and its success. Following is the entire statement made on his Facebook page:
I am going to stay at the hospital in Finland for about 3 days and then going to use more than 30 hours to get back home to Denmark, as I am not allowed to fly *unsure emoticon*..
At the 25th of february I am going to get a lung operation, hope it will never happen again after the operation!”
GosuGamers wishes Lukas a very fast and painless recovery from his illness and hopefully he will be back on the scene, better than ever, very soon.
