Pantamera Challenge #2 already over $12,000

ESL has announced that the community have already gathered over $12,000 which are being used as a prize pool for the second season of Pantamera Challenge.

Following their success with the initial season of Pantamera Challenge which was held during February 2015, ESL have announced the second season. The event is based around crowd funding through recycling metal cans and PET bottles. The number of recycled items at this point is outreaching 100,000, which is amazing, taking into account the fact that this initiative has been around for only four months so far. Those who still haven't joined this action are free to do so, as the conclusion of this action is scheduled for February.

Having gathered over 100,000 metal cans and PET bottles means that 100,000 SEK (~$12,000) have already been gathered for the prize pool of this CS:GO event. Everyone can help increase the prize pool by returning their metal cans and PET bottles to one of the custom-made recycling stations, located at the Inferno Online gaming centers in Stockholm and Norrköping. During the first season, the community managed to collect 239,001 SEK, so hopefully this number will be surpassed by February, beating the current record.

Teams interested in participating, that hold a majority of their roster from either Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway can sign up for Go4CS:GO Nordic series which will act as qualifiers for Pantamera Challenge. The first edition of Pantamera was won by Fnatic, as the Swedish team managed to take down the French team Titan in the Grand Final of the event.
