PGL's CS:GO Championship Series qualifers now open

FACEIT will host the CCS qualifers for PGL to determine the two teams that will join the invites in the league starting mid-March.

PGL's $110,000 CS:GO Championship Series, or CCS, has announced two open qualifiers run by FACE IT to determine eight teams to compete in the main event, which is set to start on March 17.

The top four of each of the two qualifiers will proceed to the closed qualifiers where they will face off against eight invite teams chosen by FACEIT. The winners from each closed qualifier will proceed to the league along side six other invited teams (two of which are Team EnVy and Virtus.Pro), which will be determined by CCS at a later date. The full schedule for the qualifes are as follows:
 

February 28 - March 1 - Open qualifiers #1 and #2 March 2 - Closed qualifier #1 quarter-finals March 3 - Closed qualifier #2 quarter-finals March 5 - Closed qualifier #1 semi-finals March 6 - Closed qualifier #1 Grand final March 7 - Closed qualifier #2 semi-finals March 8 - Closed qualifier #2 Grand final
