ESL put out an announcement today confirming the bans of multiple players, including those from Epsilon, es-ESC and WinneR who were involved in match fixing.
ESL announced today the banning of multiple players from ESL One Katowice and future tournaments, stating: "Epsilon eSports, former ESC Gaming as well as WinneR all have players on their teams who were found to be involved in match fixing, and are therefore not allowed to take part in next week’s qualifier in Katowice."
A last chance qualifier will be held to replace WinneR, who had qualified for the offline qualifier before being barred from participating in the event.
