One of the absolute best players in the warcraft III scene today is the nightelf Moon from Meet Your Makers. This Korean player have won allot of the tournaments lately. Who would think that Lyn would be able to beat this Korean player in four straight games?
Today the Chinese tournament, Make Games Colorful (MGC), ended. The dominant player in the tournament has been Meet Your Makers' superstar MYM]Moon. Before the final he lost only two games, one in the first stage and one against SK.Lyn in the winner bracket final.
While Moon made it to the grand final only loosing two games his opponent, SK.Lyn, had a harder journey there. He was in the same team as Moon in the first stage of the tournament. This means that they both qualified for the next stage. While Moon qualified directly to the double elimination Lyn had to play a consolation match against 4K.Tod to be able to survive in the tournament.
Tod was revived by the audience who wanted to give him and Grubby a second chance in the tournament. However both Grubby and Tod lost their second chance and both were eliminated. Lyn beat Tod with a 2-1 score while Grubby lost to InFi with a 2-0 score. The tournament had now only 16 players left and went on to a double elimination bracket. Lyn here managed to beat Sweet and Sky before he lost to Moon in the winner bracket final.
Moon had now qualified for the grand final and was waiting for a opponent. His opponent was decided in a match between Lyn from SK and TH000 from wNv. They faced off in the lower bracket final. TH000 went to this match from the hard way. He lost to Moon in the first round and he had played many games by now. He beat Lucifer, Sky and InFi in the lower bracket before he had to face Lyn in the final. However this was as far as he could reach this time. The orc master for SK managed to beat the Chinese human player TH000 with a 2-0 score.
In the grand final Lyn did now have to win two straight best of three matches against the Night Elf player from MYM, Moon. This was not a easy task considering Moon's performance so far in the tournament. However Lyn is not the one to give up. He managed to win the first best of three with a 2-0 score. Both the finalists did now have the same conditions. The winner of the next best of three would win the whole tournament and $10.000 in prize money. Lyn played it very well and he managed to beat Moon in the second best of three as well. This means that he could walk away $10.000 richer.
