Does DotA deserve to be at ESWC?

eswc2.jpgNot too long ago, the return of the Electronic Sports World Cup, or ESWC, was announced. The organizers of ESWC wish to return with a bang, looking for new games to add to the competition's list.

The DotA scene at the moment could not be more active. Recently, with Unique eSports disbanding; Kuroky and Kev leaving their respective teams; SMM being highly successful and China currently hosting a 30 day tournament, one would be safe to say that scene is on a high, with increased coverage around the board.

Every fan would agree that DotA deserves to be at ESWC, but the question is, do the organizers feel the same way? Some might believe that DotA clans are too unstable, with players hopping from one clan to the next; while others might believe that there isn't the same amount of skill involved compared to a game such as Counter Strike. With January and the announcement of the involved games fast approaching, players and fans alike can only hope that they have proved DotA to be worthy of an ESWC spot, and that they can continue to impress the organizers in years to come.

GosuGamers.net has conducted a poll and now poses the question to all those that love this highly entertaining and competitive game, does DotA deserve to be at ESWC?
