Gretorp departs from Fnatic

North American terran and NASL caster Andre "Gretorp" Hengchua will be leaving his current team of Fnatic.MSI, as his contract has not been renewed.

After one year of playing for Fnatic, Andre will be leaving the team due to his contract coming to an end. Both he and team's manager Xeris state that this decision has come as a result of Gretorp's future career choice and his pursuits in the shoutcasting profession.

I'm sad to see Gretorp leave the team, he's been one of my best friends since 2008. However, he's pursuing a career in casting and has many other commitments, so it's better for him to part ways with the team. So I'm sad that my good friend won't be in FnaticMSI anymore, but I'm happy also that it's because he is starting a path of his own that I think is best for his future.

FnaticMSI and I have been working together for exactly 1 year. We expected great things, and I'm sure I can speak for the both of us that great things definitely came to us. With the growth of Starcraft 2, our paths started to mature, but unfortunately it was not together. I feel it is in my best interest for myself and my career to leave FnaticMSI, and I am sad to say so. The teammates and friends I have made over the year was a true priveledge, and I hope for the success of FnaticMSI in the future.

According to Fnatic.com, Gretorp's pro-gaming career is not over by any means and he will compete very soon in the upcoming MLG Columbus.
