This summer is apparently going to be packed with StarCraft 2 events, as while we mark our calendars for the June and July events, the fine folks from Finland are putting together a great tournament in August.
I am talking, of course, about the upcoming Assembly Summer that will run from August 4th to the 7th in Helsinki, Finland. Very few details about the event have been released, but one of them is a list of the first seven players that have been invited to attend.
As you can see, there are already many renowned players who will be attending, including reigning Assembly Winter champion ret, and beta superstar TLO. The exact prize pool has not been announced, but organizers say it will exceed the Assembly Winter one which ran to €5000.
Assembly has also hired two of the best shoutcasters in the eSports scene to commentate the games - namely, TotalBiscuit and dApollo.![]()
