GSTL May brackets released

As per usual, after the intense individual league, a new season of the GSTL will launch, featuring the eight top teams in Korea.

GomTV has released the brackets for the upcoming GSTL May. The team league that puts the top eight pro-teams in Korea will launch shortly after the individual tournament concludes.

As you probably know, the team ranking is based on the amount of Code S and Code A players that each team possesses. This led to the arrival of a fresh newcomer to the league: the recently created team MVP has pushed aside the two-times finalist Incredible Miracle. Below you can see what the current team standings (with 1.6 points for each Code S player and 1 point for the Code A players) are and also the Ro8 pairings for the upcoming tournament.

According to the GSTL tradition, a new map will be added to the map pool for the new season. The two-player battlefield is called Belshir Beach and it features a nice, bright and sandy landscape and a middle area with both open spaces and strategically position choke points. The expansion pattern is pretty straightforward with an option of a gold base that is closer to the opponent's side.
