I'm very happy, I won but I made a mistake in set 3 so that's been wandering in my head.

My mom pops up in my head first, and then my oGs team members. oGsGon, oGsTheWind and oGs.

Now I have a 100,000,000 won. And when I win in Code S, I will make you richer.

When did you first think you were going to win?

- In the first set, my opponent played as he expected, so Terrans are still below me. I expected a cheese rush in most games, but Rain showed different strategies. It was a bit startling, but I could hold it off.

I don't think there's anyone out there who can beat me. If I play Terran I would have won three times. I won as a Protoss because I'm so good.

Sentries on the way to Rain's main. Pylon being warped in just below the ramp, going to warp in more units. MC moves in! But at the same time, Rain goes for a drop in MC's base.

But can hold it off, while Rain's base defense is too weak. MC moves further in, razing the ramp's buildings. Rain GGs, 4-1 to MC and we have a champion!

Game 5 - MC vs. Rain @ Jungle Basin

12:18 - This might be it. We could have our champion after this, unless Rain does something to stop the reign of MC. Rain at the top left position, MC in the bottom right. Probe inside the main, spots the baracks and refinery. Standard play for MC, Cybernetics core warping in just now.

Double gas from Rain, we have a Starport being laid down, and a tech lab at the Factory. Blue Flame Hellion drop.

MC with a 4-gateway. Ooh, tough for Rain if MC does this timing attack at the right... you know, time.

12:13 - In case you guys didn't catch that, the booths that the players are sitting in are moving forward after each win. After each victory, you move one step closer to the trophy. Quite nice!

11:59 - Zealots dealing heeeavy damage on the SCV mineral line. Rain with a bunker up, with two marines in it. A marauder is out, who can fend off the zealots for now. But oh, MC is so ahead now. Stalkers being warped in.

Stalker out. It can take out all the SCVs, the bunker can't reach.

Game 4 - MC vs. Rain @ Steppes of War

11:53 - Fourth game will be played out on Steppes of War. Can this be the comeback of Rain?

Oh wow, proxy pylon! Gateway on eight, a proxy gateway inside Rain's base. Rain spots it. "No cost-efficient way to kill that gateway, you need marines," says Artosis.

Zealots on the way.

11:37 - MC has moved out on the battlefield, going for an attack at the gold expansion position from Rain. The colossi and zealots are doing what they can, but Rain has too many marines and marauders. GG, 2-1!

11:32 - Robotics Bay on the way. Stalkers out, hunting those Banshees. Observer is out. Rain has five barracks off of two-base.

With a raven out, Rain goes off to attack. MC with some colossi, stalkers to defend. Seems really tough for MC, but he in some way survives.

Rain falls back, giving MC the chance to breathe. But not for long, doing a little drop in the main of MC. But units gets warped in, and fends it off.

11:29 - MC taking his natural expansion. Six sentries and one zealot defending.

Rain with a two-barracks marine, marauder build. Starport up, Banshee on the way, no detection for MC.

Game 3 - MC vs. Rain @ Xel'Naga Caverns

11:25 - Aaand the game is off. MC is in the upper right, and Rain in the bottom left.

Both players scouting each other. We see nothing out of the ordinary. Sentry being built, following the first zealot. MC warping in two more gateways.

Third game to get started very soon. On Xel'Naga Caverns.

11:19 - Rain can't touch this. All I'm thinking now:

11:14 - Wow, feels like oGsMC is just heaps ahead in game sense. Rain needs to start mixing it up if he wants to withstand the high technological armies of MC. Now there'll be a little break, but we'll be back very soon!

11:12 - Two medivacs barely survives the Protoss army while they were moving out. MC engaging now, a lot of colossus, and the terran army is being toasted by the storm and the thermal lances. GG from Rain, and 2-0 for MC.

11:10 - MC is constantly harassing, being everywhere on the map. Rain dropped the newly made nexus at 9'o'clock, but stalkers will clean it up.

11:09 - MC manages to pull off a few nice storms anyways, and cleans up the Terran army, and is ahead now, as a dark templar managed to kill more than 20 SCVs while the big battle was going on, and Rain's economy is suffering badly.

11:07 - DT harassment in the base gets cleaned up by ghosts and marines, a viking kills the warp prism.

Rain is now moving out, a huge army, and beautiful EMPs takes care of most the protoss army.

11:05 - Rain sent a command center to the bottom right corner island, but MC had units there prepared, Rain kills those units with some marines dropped there.

Rain now got his gold expansion up and running, but the SCVs are on really low health, and warp prism is there, one storm killing 10 SCVs!

11:04 - MC managed to break the contain. Moments later, Rain drops in the main base, does some harass with the marines, and retreats.

11:03 - MC warps in high templars and stalkers in the middle with his warp prism, puts on some pressure on Rain's second base, forcing him to send back some units.

11:01 - Still having the contain, and killed the second base of MC, Rain is looking good.

10:59 - Rain pushing out again, MC is researching psi storm, but it has not finished yet, while Rain is making a lot of bunkers there. MC counter attacks with a few stalkers.

At the same time, Rain has dropped the expansion, and is killing everything there. A bit of lag now, so I didn't get to see the drop though.

10:57 - Rain is dropping the expansion of MC, but a lot of stalkers arrive, warped in and blinked in, cleaning up the stimless marines. Stim research has just started.

10:56 - MC is cleaning up the terran army, and is ahead in supply now, while he's making many more gateways, and had some DT harassing going on in the main of Rain.

10:55 - Rain is forcing MC to back off up to his main, Rain has his tanks sieged up on the lower ground, a close battle here. Rain is inside the base.

10:54 - Rain is moving out, lots of tanks and marines, supported with medivacs and a raven.

10:53 - A warp prism is out, will we see a dark templar drop? I believe so. In the meanwhile, Rain is expanding to his natural, MC is expanding to the 9'o'clock expansion. A dark templar in the main of Rain now, a Raven is out though.

Two more dark templars are hiding in the base.

10:51 - MC got his twilight council as well now, both players sitting on one base. Dark shrine being made as well now, heavy teching from MC.

10:47 - MC putting on some early pressure, gets a supply depot and the reactor again, just like in the first game, and again he switches to robotics, but this time also four gates, no expansion. Rain got vikings, tanks, rines and a medivac.

10:47 - Rain is not doing the same strategy as in the last game, he has a starport going up now, while MC is again making a void ray.

10:45 - Game 2 - Rain vs MC - Lost Temple

Rain spawns at the 2'o'clock position, while MC in the top mid at 12'o'clock.

10:43 - While we wait for the second game, we spotted the pandabearguy in the audience, and quoting Tasteless;

UPDATE: A computer has crashed, and Artosis can't even log on to Battle.net, being the reason for the delay of the second game.

10:41 - The second game has been paused right at the beginning, some latency issues, will be resolved as soon as possible.

UPDATE: It's a sound error, and the game will be restarted.

10:32 - The second game is being delayed due to the internet connection.

In the meanwhile, we get to see a clay animation:

10:18 - They will show commercials in Korea now, so in the meantime, let's summarize the first game. If it was a map with closer positions, I'm sure Rain's tactic would've done better, and we do have some maps later with short rush distances. Though, he has now revealed his strategy, so I doubt it will work out as he had planned, and he should come up with something different.

The timing wasn't perfect either, MC was well prepared when he arrived, and the contain didn't do much pressure as MC had his expansion inside his base. Again, a different map would've changed the whole aspect of that game.

10:16 - After breaking the contain, MC is ahead with double the income to Rain. Rain is making his second all-in attempt, moving out now, but too much there waiting for him, GG from Rain. 1-0 for MC, and he's pointing his finger,

"oh no, you won't"

10:14 - Rain still has the contain, but MC cleverly picking off reinforcements with phoenixes. He's now moving out, breaking the contain, nice gravity boosts! This looks bad for Rain, though his marines are doing well out there.

More stalkers coming, and he cleans it up.

10:13 - Pushing up the ramp now, a bunker has been made. MC is trying to attack, but back up.

10:12 - The timing attack is now, marines, tanks, vikings and medivacs. SCVs are sent first to find out what is going on before he moves in with his main army.

10:10 - MC smartly backs off after taking down the supply depot and the reactor, and is transitioning into a robotics now, while Rain is committing to a one-base build timing attack. We'll see how it goes, the attack should be pretty soon, because MC is expanding, and Rain don't want to wait too long after that is up and running.

10:09 - The void ray is out, and MC is gathering up his army outside Rain's base, looking to engage any minute. Void ray coming in, now picking off the reactor of the barracks. SCVs are there to repair.

10:08 - Siege tank and a second barracks is going up for Rain, while MC is making a stargate.

10:06 - Standard openings from both players, no cheese. Both players are just waiting out on the first marine and the stalker to chase away the scouting worker in their base, to not avoid their builds.

10:04 - Game 1 - Rain vs MC - Delta Quadrant

The grand final has officially begun! We have Rain in the bottom left corner as the red Terran, and MC, the blue Protoss in the top right of Delta Quadrant.

09:41 - We're in the studio now, John is translating what the host is saying.

09:40 - The pre show has ended. I am getting goosebumps all over. They are now recapping the season, and the music in the background is so... mysterious.

09:37 - Haha, I'm am having such a good time watching these guys doing different StarCraft mimic games.

09:18 - While they're making eggs on the pre show for the grand final, I am getting pumped by listening to this;

09:07 - The pre show stuff is currently running, and they added English subtitles!

08:50 - It's really early, it took me like 40 minutes to actually see clearly. An example of that, after taking the morning urination, I walked up to wash my hands, and on my way up to the mirror, all I could see was a blurry me. It got way too late last night, and it's way too early this morning, but it is definitely worth it, because it's the GSL grand final.

Now, I have made 7 cups of coffee that I will with no doubt finish before game four of the series between Rain and MC. I'm afraid we'll have a very one-sided grand final though, taken from the last rounds, Rain didn't impress at all, while MC did. I do however think that Rain played better in the earlier round of the tournament, so we'll see.
