- I did expect myself to do better even though I know that my condition is not so good due to completely lack of practice during last 2 months. Anyway PvP matchup is most about build choice and Lx did the better choices today. I made some conclusions from this match and if I will have to face him again I will surely do better.
Tomorrow you will play Phoenix, how confident are you against him? Protoss versus Terran is one of your stronger match ups, isn't it?
- Yes it is. But nowadays I find in my play a lot of mess so anything might happen. I don't want to judge my chances against Phoenix because usually when I judge my opponents I do it wrong ;) I will just try to do my best and go the next round.
Draco, Testie and IefNaij in China.
How's it like experiencing China together with Testie and IefNaij as the only "foreigners"?
- We're having a great time even though there are many difficulties for us here in China. IefNaij is a very nice and manner guy and Testie... I'm kinda surprised how friendly we've become since WWI. As I said in one of the interviews, my attitude has changed. I'm here mostly because I want to have fun time :)
“ It's not 100% decided yet but I will probably retire.
- Draco about his future
What is your opinion on the format of this tournament? Good or bad?- Draco about his future
- It brings a lot of games what might be a little painfull for players who have to be in a shape for such a long time. Generally I think it's good and pretty fair for all of the players so probably the best of us will win the tournament! :)
After this, will you go back to Poland or back to the OGN headquarters in Korea?
- It's not 100% decided yet but I will probably retire. Considering a fact that SC 2 will be released in a year or two there is not even enough time to succeed and have enough profits from SC. I will still play SC/BW for fun in Poland from time to time and wait for the next sequel. After that we will hopefully see pro-gaming not only in Korea and the chances/conditions for foreigners and Koreans will be finally similar.
Then a win in this tournament would a great way to end your "competitive" career, would it not?
- I would say that I'm going to end my career in Korea but not in general. As I said I'm not quiting SC at all. I will probably participate in some other tournaments but for sure I won't give as many effort into practice as before. But yes a win in PGL would be very pleasing. :P Even if I decide to finally forget about Korea it doesn't mean that I won't have regrets. I will always feel a lack of success no matter how old I will be so I just hope I will be still able to win some competitions in SC/BW and look forward for good results in SC 2.
