Registrations for the Hardmode Cup have begun. 512 teams can now sign up for the qualifiers with a chance of making it into the final 16.
The registration for Hardmode.tv's Hardmode Cup has begun with qualifiers open to up to 512 teams. The announcement of Hardmode's monthly Dota 2 tournament came in August with a prize pool of up to $1,000 for grabs. The monthly edition will be performed at the end of each month in which the best performing teams will be selected to participate in a bigger event promised by the end of the year.
The September edition of the Hardmode Cup series will be carried out on the 29th of September while teams will have up until the 20th of September to register.
The tournament system consists of two stages. The first stage will be an open qualifier stage,after which the top 16 teams will move on to the main tournament. These 16 teams will be put into brackets with another 16 invited teams which have yet to be disclosed.
Copenhagen Wolves and zNation are the only two teams invited so far.
1st Place : $600
2nd Place : $300
3rd Place : $100
Teams who are currently playing in Clan Wars can also receive a direct invite to the tournament when Hardmode Cup goes live. Signup details can be found here.
