February 2012 KeSPA rankings

February KeSPA rankings didn't bring us big changes in the top 10, but we got some nice advancements from Jaehoon and BeSt.

As you can see, the top 10 brings us the 5 Zerg players, 3 Terran players and 2 Protoss players, and in the top 30 we have a total amount of 13 Zerg players, 10 Terran players and 7 Protoss players.

My dream is that everyone will go to their senses in a while and they're going to stop trying to create new "esport" games, while they have a real phenomenon, a esport gem, a game that (probably with Quake) created Esports overall..

and they will switch to BW again when all the other games fail ;p (Quake and CS 1.6 would be nice too)

#4 this is so right but you forgot counter strike (more than 10 years old and still active) which is closer to the modern FPS than Quake (quake like multiplayer games: tribes, tf2, and few others), and soon warcraft 3 (mixing rpg and strategy makes it a different game)
#5 if dota is still played in 5-6 years, even more, then it can be considered as a foundating game. im dota player, but having played few starcraft games and watched several vods/replays, i have much more respect towards starcraft players than i have toward dota players. you can play dota asleep, but not starcraft...

starcraft average APM nowadays: 350. oh i sense ache in the fingers when the players are going to get old.
