In a non-streamed IEF 2011 grand final, Jae Ho "Moon" Jang took first place to win $10,000 after defeating long-time team mate June "Lyn" Park 2-0 on Terenas Stand and Echo Isles.
The $17,000 USD prize money event had some of the world's best WarCraft 3 players, including European talents yAwS, Sonik, VeryB1gman and Nicker as well as the Canadian KiWiKaKi.
But despite the international competition, the playoffs once again proved to be full of the Chinese and Korean players, except for the Ukrainian Night Elf Sonik who grabbed the runner-up position in Group D ahead of Fly100%.
However, the Ukrainian's performance in the playoffs ended quickly, losing to bronze medalist Infi in the first round.
