The tournament Make Games Colorful. You might not know what it is but actually its a very big competition in China for the game Warcraft 3. This year the MGC crew also decided to include DotA. They invited top teams all around the globe such as SK-gaming, MeetYourMakers and EHOME. It is also a big prizepool on 9500 US dollars. However its probably a huge turn down for the organizers when three of the invited european teams today said they cant come. MYM, SK and DTS are apparently indisposed to travel for different reasons.
MYM couldnt come because half the team have reallife issues which couldnt wait. Merlini have to focus on his school while both Slahser and Mania- also had to focus on their studies and aswell some personal issues.
The clan SK-gaming refused to finance the China trip for their dota squad. Its not known why but it could be the problems with SK.dota's huge losing streak and bad results in the recent tournaments.
DTS-gaming simply didnt have the money to send their dota team all the way to China. When MYM couldnt travel east, the MGC organizers instead invited the chinese team caNt and the uknown team oBot.
The games will surprisingly be played with the map v6.53.
Even if three of the biggest names are gone, they are still some famous teams going.
