Luca Pagano Sets EPT Record

Posted by Tyler "pureonyx" Hancock 3 months ago
With his seventh place finish in the European Poker Tour Deauville, Pagano set the record for most EPT final tables. Who held the record before that? Why it was none other than Luca Pagano. This appearance puts him two final table finishes ahead of his nearest competitors, Jason Mercier and Johannes Strassmann, with five EPT final tables each. The Italian pro has cashed in an incredible 20 EPT Main Events since the tour began in 2004. His next nearest competitor for that record is Pierre Neuville with 12 cashes.

Pagano has amassed more than $2 million dollars in total lifetime tournament earnings, with just over $1.4 million of those cashes coming in EPT events. The largest score of his career came in the 2008 EPT Grand Final where he finished sixth for $532,831.
