Heartland Poker Tour Back in Sin City

Posted by Tyler "pureonyx" Hancock 3 months ago
Heralded as one of Las Vegas' hippest resorts, the Palms Casino Resort will play host to the Heartland Poker Tour this year in April. "We're pleased to have the Palms as our homebase this year," says HPT's Co-Founder Todd Anderson.

The last two years have seen back-to-back sellout events for the HPT as it descended on Vegas strip. Last year, Rob "veeRob" Perelman bested a field of 558 players and scored $158,755 after investing just $250 in an HPT qualifier. One year earlier, Kimbo Ung took home $125,901 for beating out 433 players.

The eighth season brings several widely anticipated improvements for the HPT including a new tournament structure, re-entry availability, and revamped payouts.
