You know Creation eSports' King of the Watch, and you know ESL from their wide range of events. Well, today you will get to know ESL's King of the Hill series as well.
ESL is one of the few organizations worldwide with the resources and experience to host as many events as they do. Most of you will at least have heard about the Atlantic Showdown event, with qualifiers going on right now and the offline finals happening at gamescom. It seems like they still have some time to spare, because starting today they will be hosting yet another tournament series:
ESL King of the Hill
- 5 PM PDT/8 PM EST/2 AM CEST
- $1,000 prizepool for that week's King
- 4 teams, 3 matches
- Twitch.tv/ESL
For this first edition, four teams have been invited to kick off the series: TSM, Selfless, Team Liquid and Sodipop. Any future editions will feature open qualifiers however, and we can count on many Tuesdays full of healthy competition to come.
The Overwatch KOTH will happen after a similar Hearthstone KOTH, and so fans of both games are advised to tune in as early as 11 AM PDT for (about) double the entertainment.
