GameBlast to raise £150,000 for charity.

SpecialEffect plans on raising £150,000 in a huge charity weekend focused on gaming, called GameBlast16.

From February 26th to February 28th, GameBlast16 will be the umbrella name for a wide variety of different gaming events and marathons. Hundreds have already agreed to partake in GameBlast.

There are multiple big brands that are assosiated with GameBlast and SpecialEffect this year, including, but not limited to, Twitch, FaceIT, and Multiplay.

GameBlast16 is an opportunity to bring together people to do what they love and level the playing field for people with disabilities at the same time. There's still time to get fully involved, and we're inviting everyone from the global gaming community and industry to join us. - Dr. Donegan, CEO of SpecialEffect

If this year's £150,000 goal is reached, it will be the most money raised in GameBlast history, trumping last year's result by £30,000. this will be a huge step forward for SpecialEffect, the people benefitting from SpecialEffect and GameBlast, and for the gaming community.
