Even with the return of Scarra, Dignitas were not able to pull a second win after the first in the set against Team Curse, who move on to face Cloud 9 in the semi-finals.

Dignitas kicked off Game 1 with a strong showing due to the four man tower race going way in favor of them over Curse.  Dignitas managed to pull off solid rotations, though Curse had Voyboy as an ace up their sleeve.  Voyboy was able to make the plays for his team and get ahead, which allowed curse to win teamfights.

Dignitas had the right idea and had a significant lead in towers.  The final nail for Curse in this game was the lack of attention to the map.  While they were fighting middle, Imaqtpie was able to take an inhibitor tower all by himself.  This snowballed into a huge advantage for Dignitas and allowed them to take one with ease.

Game 2 featured Curse going for a full late game team composition that actually worked out for them.  The sidelanes once again saw 4v0 with Dignitas once again pulling ahead, taking an inhibitor tower while Curse was forced to back off.  The game was quite low in kills and less of a bloodbath then last game, and Dignitas heralded an early lead.

However, the game wouldn't always stay in Dignitas' favor for a clean 2-0.  Curse managed a huge comeback, and even caught up in towers despite their deficit.  Lots of back and forth action went off between Dignitas and Curse, with Dignitas holding an advantage in their siege due to getting an inhibitor.  Dignitas were able to steal a baron leader in the game, but ultimately Curse cleaned it up. With long enough respawn timers, Curse were able to close out the game against Dignitas.

In the Third and final game, the metagame struck yet again with both teams racing for towers.  The early game was incredibly in Dignitas' favor after some misplays from Curse granted four free early game kills to Dignitas.  However, the team doesn't get labeled "Dignitoss" often from the community for no reason, and the team was here to prove that in this game.

Dignitas managed to throw with Curse slowly surmounting an edge by taking advantage of every misplay.  By the 23 minute mark, Curse had managed to climb up to a 12-4 kill lead, but Dignitas held strong and even in towers.  Scarra managed to apply pressure early for his team, but quickly faltered and showed his decreased play later in the game.  Curse were eventually able to push their lead to a secure LCS summer split, pushing Dignitas to a fight in avoiding relegation against Coast.
