XDG look strong in their game against TSM, but fall short in the match against EG forcing them into eighth place.

XDG vs TSM

The game started off with 2v1 lanes and the junglers trading red buffs. TheOddOne's gank on midlane proves itself unsuccessful, as Sheep and Xmithie are there to lock TheOddOne down to secure first blood. TSM sneak a Dragon and kill Xmithie when he tries to smite steal it. XDG make a good rotation and take mid lane turret and a drafon. TSM and XDG trade some objectives and kills with a slight edge in TSM's favor until TSM make a risky engagement under mid lane inhibitor turret. TSM dive, but with good positioning Zuna and XDG turn and get a clean three kills on TSM.

XDG try to press an advantage and take dragon, but TSM are lying in wait to pick off Sheep and Benny. Dyrus makes a good teleport gank onto XDG around baron getting TSM three kills whilst only losing Bjergsen. However, XDG make a good decision taking baron immedietely when they see Theoddone in botlane out of posiition to defend. XDG take tier 2 mid and top turrets, but nothing else with their baron buff. TSM win a teamfight near baron and take the objective. Then XDG engage onto TSM trading three kills for one. XDG get engaged on but win the teamfight losing only one while taking out four members of TSM. XDG use this advantage to take mid inhibitor and gain map pressure. XDG rotate top lane where they pick off Dyrus and with the help of super minions deafeat TSM!

Cloud 9 vs Coast

Cloud 9 start this game taking 3 buffs and going with an unorthadox 1-2-1 lane setup. Throughout the early game Nintendudex pressures the whole map while Cloud 9's Meteos does nothing but farm the jungle or empty lanes. Cloud 9 look to try and gain an advantage so they dive botlane, but get turned on by Coast's team for the 1-5 ace and eventual dragon for coast!

Meteos gets a kill in botlane and Cloud 9 take 2 turrets in botlane. Hai catches out Daydreamin in the midlane, meanwhile Meteos takes the bottom inhibitor turret. Coast do a clever two man baron and use it to take down the outer mid lane turret. Coast get a good teamfight trading three kills for one death and an inhibitor. Shiphtur picks off Hai then Coast take baron and start pressuring top lane. While Coast pressure Meteos backdoors the Coast bot lane inhibitor. Cloud 9's team prevents Coast from backing while Meteos takes the game for his team!

EG vs XDG

The winner of this game would get seventh place and avoids playing LMQ in the challenger series. Pobelter plays overly aggressive in mid lane where Mancloud kills him one versus one. EG make a good rotation and take an eight minute dragon. XDG start a gank bot lane but get countered and end up giving  EG two kills for one. However, EG overstay and orianna roams down and lands a four man ultimate which leads to a double kill for orianna.

EG get two picks one onto Benny and the other onto Mancloud, and take out mid turret off the advantage. XDG take an open dragon but EG were waiting for them killing off all five members of XDG. While looking to take any advantage they can XDG get flanked in the midlane by Snoopeh and EG capitalized getting 4 members of XDG and baron only losing Pobelter's leblanc in the process. EG use baron to take tier 2 middle and bottom turrets but XDG stall out the rest of baron. EG take the next baron then take top turret and inhibitor. With the minions pushing in EG get a good catch onto Zuna and use the man advantage to push in and end the game securing seventh place for themselves!
