Counter Logic Gaming beat Team Dignitas in 21:35. The fastest in NA LCS this season, and EG help themselves with a good showing versus Curse
Dig vs CLG
Dig needs the win to secure Fourth place for playoffs, but CLG had other plans. The game started with standard 2v1 laneswaps and blue buff trades. However, after two turrets went down for each teams 2v1 lane CLG rotated to a four man botlane push where the team takes out Kiwikid, Crumbzz, and the eventual turret. CLG never let up getting Dragon right after and rotate to take tier two bot tower.
CLG pressure the advantage they have and destroy the tier two mid tower with brute force. CLG rotate and take baron as it spawns at 15minutes. Dignitas try to kill Doublelift by sending two people, but with the lead Doublelift was able to kill both of them with some help from Link. CLG use the misplay by Dig to take top inhibitor and bottom lane tier 3 turret. Shortly afterwards CLG take midlane inhibitor turret and inhib. After backing to buy items CLG storm into Dig base and take the game in an astonishing 21 minutes.
EG vs Curse
With a win Curse would secure Fourth place for playoffs, but EG needed a win to help avoid the eighth place spot. Curse and EG both trade blue buffs and go into 2v1 laneswaps. After taking 2 turrets each in the 2v1 laneswaps both teams send the ADC and support to mid-lane to push. Pobelter dives mid but gets caught by a binding for first blood for Bunnyfufu's morgana.
Curse attempt a seige on the outer mid lane turret, but Snoopeh lands a great pantheon ultimate getting kills onto Cop's caitlyn and IWD's elise. EG get mid turret off this advantage. EG take dragon then turn onto a looming Curse. EG wins the fight killing two members of Curse and only losing one. EG start getting consistent victories in small scrimishes thanks to Snoopehs initiates. EG catch curse in the red side jungle almost getting the ace with just Quas getting out alive. EG finish the baron and Curse decided to surrender forcing them into Fifth place for playoffs and helping EG to get Seventh place.
