More complications? *

Since the release of the WarCraft III expansion The Frozen Throne earlier this week more complications have been discovered!
Besides all of the #Clan channels are restricted Blizzard also has a new policy on spam.
This is ofcourse both good and bad, the basic idea was to make people who spam unable to log into their gateway (the gateway they spammed on) for some time. On the other hand this doesn't take in consideration if it was "un-willingly spam" or "annoying" spam. But another bad side-effect is that it makes the WGTour bot unable to function.

This is of course an enourmous step backwards with the bot really helping the ladder to float more easily. If you now obey one of the former botcommands (such as, /w wgtour stats or /w wgtour race) you get the following message:

"Due to the modification of the Blizzard policy about spamming, we are currently unable to propose the bot service.
The old way of reporting is reopen (icon is available on member's page) THE LOSER REPORTS THE MATCH"

The report is now again done manually by the loser from the homesite including, from the many hits, the page will be just as slow as it was before the bot entered the scene.

So, Blizzard has done it again huh?

Update:

The WGTour bot is online and working again. There are some new improvements that has fixed the bot. WGTour admins are not sure about if this bot will work as good as it did a while ago, so the manual reporting system is still available. They recommend to use the bot in first case and if it doesn't work you shuld use the manual system.
