m`ICKe leaving his team and HoN

He was one of the stars in Jönköping, Sweden this past DreamHack Winter 2013, now he calls it a day. m`ICKe is not only set to leave his team Denial eSports, but also the entire game of Heroes of Newerth.

Sad news coming out of Denial eSports today, as the team has not only lost it's Lower Bracket match in HoN Tour Diamond Division against stayGreen, but they will also lose one of their key members. The suicide player m`ICKe, popular through his behavior, youth and exceptional skill in HoN, is set to depart from his team and Heroes of Newerth following the loss. The result of today was not a factor in his decision though, the team hasn't scrimmed for quite a while now and m`ICKe was more focused on Dota 2 than HoN. Now he will leave the S2 Games game for sure, entering Dota 2 as his new venture.

His former team will stick together with the four members left, while trying to find a suitable replacement for the young Swede. According to Zlapped the team will not only stick together, they will also stick true to their sponsor - the organization of Denial eSports. In the next couple of days tryouts will be held, but no names were officially mentioned.

We're still sticking through with Denial and they're supporting us through these rough times. We're searching for a fifth and will hopefully find one before next cycle.
Zlapped, Captain of Denial eSports

Obviously the team will look at the free agent market first where players like FibEli3 and VNsensation come to mind. Both have a previous history with the team, VNsensation being the former captain of the squad before leaving to join up with NoVa, Emperor and NoX over in Thailand for the iMpunity.Storm project. Since that project has been shut down for three weeks now, the Swedish player came back to his country and has not been picked up by any team yet. FibEli3 on the other hand was playing for dnL just last weekend, covering for probusk, who was absent due to vacation plans over the Christmas period.

Whether any of these or other players are taken into consideration will be clarified over the last couple of days, when Denial eSports is making an effort to integrate a new permanent fifth. The squad has about six days to figure it out, before the tenth and final cycle of HoN Tour Diamond Division kicks off. Denial is in the comfortable position of being a lock for the playoffs already, so they can use this opportunity to try out players and see whether they are a fit or not. More news will sure come out in the near future as to where the considerations for dnL are heading.
