Big change in Thailand - at least with the names. The successful team of Yamaha.s2y has agreed to partner up with the renowned eSports organization of Made in Thailand to continue their success of the last months.
It doesn't change much on paper, but it is a good sign for the esteemed organization of Made in Thailand. MiTH is one of the most recognizable names in the SEA clan scene and that name will be represented at the top level in Heroes of Newerth from now on.
Sorry Sorry previously had a partnership with Yamaha, but this recent sponsor change nullifies that and makes them a part of the MiTH family. The time for the acquisition is nearly perfect for Made in Thailand, who sign the best team in Thailand that has gained a lot of notoriety through their third place finish at the Garena Star League 2013 and their G-League April Championship. From that moment on the team was considered to be the #1 in Thailand, backing up that placement by qualifying for the DreamHack Summer 2013 just last week.
MiTH previously had a team called Open House Party under their tags, but after the Garena Star League and the somewhat disappointing exit out of the tournament in the second round of the Lower Bracket, the partnership came to an end. The future of Open House Party is currently unknown, the future of MiTH.s2y will have a DreamHack Summer 2013 appearance in sight.
