Best Team of the Year Category

1. Europe [fntc] FnaticRaidCall - 51%

2. Europe [OK] Online Kingdom - 19%
3. Australia [fray] Frenetic Array - 12%
4. Sweden [LION] Lions eSports - 11%
5. UnitedStates [tdm] Trademark eSports - 7%

Fnatic has achieved another landslide victory over their rivals, gathering just over half the total votes.

The stability of their roster throughout the year allowed them to consistently place on the podium in the vast majority of online events they decided to participate in. They also managed to defend their Dreamhack title twice this year and now have three consecutive trophies at the Swedish based LAN. The disappointing fourth place finish at the NASL Season 2 finals was an early sign of roster issues at the end of the year; however, it is undeniable that 2011 was another black-and-orange dominated year in HoN.

Danijel 'Street' Remus, FnaticRaidCall General Manager:
Winning this award two years in a row means a lot to us and shows that were are constantly doing right things in terms of practice and from management point in terms of managing our team. Everyone is focused on good results and hard training, and what we do is making it all easier for the players fixing all side stuff so all they have to focus is gaming.

Best Carry Player Category

1. Finland Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen - 38%

2. Sweden Jonathan 'Loda' Berg - 26%
3. Sweden Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu - 19%
4. Australia Trent 'sLiCKz' Tucker - 12%
5. UnitedStates Mark 'Tralfamadore' Seidl - 5%

After last years two horse race between Jaehyung 'chu' Park and him, Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen had an easier job winning this award, racking up 38% of the total votes.

He was certainly the favorite to retain the title as the Finnish giant consistently and spectacularly carried his team to many victories in 2011., and finding a tournament match in which he didn't obtain an above average GPM may just be an impossible mission.

His Kraken and Zephyr performances will be hard to outdo, and his Valkyrie play is at a legendary status. Trixi always seemed to find the perfect balance between farming and taking part in teamfights or pushes before eventually deciding to move on to Dota2.

Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen:
I'm very thankful for everybody who voted for me and it always feels great to win community awards. Sadly I'm not playing HoN anymore, but by winning these votes I feel like I achieved a lot while playing. A big shoutout to everybody voting for me and my old team mates as well, I couldn't have done so well without them. Cheers.

3. UnitedStates Robert 'Bdiz' Tinnes - 8%
4. UnitedStates Alex 'Sender' Wieker - 6%

First time in the history of GosuGamers Awards for any of the games we provide coverage for, we have a tie. The fans decided that Jascha 'NoVa' Markuse and Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall were equally dominating during the past year and will share the award!

The German supporter completely crushed his competition in last year's polls, but things went a bit differently this time around. Still, he was one of the favorites to win the award as NoVa_ is one of the most unselfish players, sacrificing himself for the good of the team to an extreme.

He's famous for running around with just red boots and wards during the later stages of the game, while still managing to somehow avoid death with his immaculate positioning prowess.

Jascha 'NoVa' Markuse:
Thanks to the community once again for another trophy. Although I didn't necessarily feel like deserving it 100% this year, it's good to see that you faith in my skills ;)

Ever since he swapped to HoN from DotA, Akke has been considered one of the premier supporters in the world, but in 2011. he was hit with the spotlight. He is almost unanimously considered to be the best of the best supporter by fellow pro players.

His aggressive but smart playstyle made his opponents tremble with fear of even his Glacius, while his Ophelia was unmatched by anyone.

Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall:
I'm really honored and pleased I got so many votes, and think its great to end up on the same place as NoVa. I want to thank all the people that have voted for me, you are the best! Cheers :)

3. Germany Marc 'Mag1x' Müller - 21%
4. Sweden Johan 'Mynuts' Andresson - 12%
5. UnitedStates Kyle 'Swindlemelonzz' Freedman - 6%

After not managing to win an award last year as he finished in 3rd place in the Best Overall Player category, Tal 'Fly' Aizik finally got the recognition he undoubtedly deserves.

Arguably the best drafter in HoN's history, the legendary 'Fly' revolutionized the metagame more than once during 2011. Naturally, he also played a vital role in his team's success during the past year with his incredible versatility and in-game decision making.

His jungling capabilities are top notch and he is widely regarded as the best Tempest player around, while his Ophelia is also praised.

Tal 'Fly' Aizik:
Thanks for the award, I appreciate all the voters. I will continue improving and will always try to excel in the role I play and for the next year perhaps change my roles up a bit more.

2. Germany Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbückers - 25%
3. Malaysia JunLiong 'dabeliuteef' Loh - 17%
4. Denmark Henrik 'Freshpro' Hansen - 12%
5. Canada Josh 'PAINTITGOLD' Amos - 9%

The first player to win a GosuGamers award in two different categories, Johan 'n0tail' Sundstein swept the competition and grabbed 35% of your total votes.

The young Danish mastermind has, during 2011., obtained a legendary status amongst the fans that is matched by only a couple other players. He is a superaggressive, sometimes even suicidal, solo mid player who's not afraid to live on the edge in order to give his team every advantage possible.

One could make an hour long highlight video of just his amazing Pollywog Priest plays during the past year, the hero he is best known for, but his Silhouette, Torturer, and Maliken also played a vital role during this Fnatic dominated year.

Johan 'n0tail' Sundstein:
I am happy to win this award, as it shows that I was training hard whole year long, not only when playing with the team, but in TMM's and so on.

The GosuGamers.net HoN crew would like to congratulate all the winners of the GosuGamers HoN Awards 2011. in their respective categories and would like to apologize to the fans, supporters and readers for the long overdue publishing of these results.
